CHARGES AGAINST SHIPOWNERS OR SHIPS' AGENTS

PORT DUES
Charges for the use of channel, navigation aids and other facilities to ensure safety in entering and leaving Bangkok Port area shall be levied against inbound vessels of 750 GRT and over at the following rates :-

101.3 Tankers in item 101.1 or 101.2 sailing through the channel more than 8 or 10 trips respectively per month will be subjected to port dues for the ninth or eleventh trip onward at 50% of the prescribed rate. Tankers in item 101.1 or 101.2 that wish to pay the dues for yearly basis shall register and pay the charge in advance for 96 or 120 trips respectively at the prescribed rate.
101.4 Conventional vessel sailing through the channel over 6 trips per year shall be subjected to port dues for the seventh trip onward at 50% of the prescribed rate.
Conventional vessels that wish to pay the port dues for yearly basis shall register and pay the charge in advance for 6 trips at the prescribed rate.
101.5 Vessels other than in item 101.3 or 101.4 sailing through the channel more than 10 trips per month shall be subjected to port dues for the eleventh trip onward at 50% of the prescribed rate.Thai Government vessels and foreign are exempted from port dues.

TUG SERVICE
Charge for the use of tug boat for servicing vessel is assessed from the size of vessel per hour as follows:-

Minimum charge for one tug boat Baht / Hour
Capacity less than 2,000 HP 3,000
Capacity of 2,000 HP and over 6,000

Charges will be collected from the time the tug boat leaves the station until it returns.

In case of using tug boat for salvage of a grounded vessel,towage of a disabled vessel or freeing fouled anchor chains or providing other services within the Bangkok Port area,the charge will be double the normal charge.

At least 2 hours of notice must be given in advance for postponement or cancellation of tug service,otherwise vessel will be subjected to a minimum service charge of one hour for one tug boat.

Tug services outside the Bangkok Port area will be considered case by case.

BERTH HIRE
Charges for the use of Bangkok Port berth including rope boat service will be assessed per hour according to the berthing place as follows:

BERTH HIRE OF OTHER CRAFT
Charges for the use of Bangkok Port berth for other types of craft will be levied against applicant according to berthing place as follows:-

104.1 At berth or alongside vessel at berth for
lighter,fuel lighter or fresh water lighter

CONVENTIONAL CARGO WHARFAGE
Charges for the use of berthing place for discharging or loading general cargo from or onto vessel at the Bangkok Port berth will be assessed according to number of tonne of cargo discharged or loaded.

Shipowner or ship's agent shall submit cargo manifest declaring the exact weight and volume of cargo prior to schedule of discharging not less than 24 hours. For vessel of South East Asia countries route,cargo manifest shall be submitted not less than 6 hours before discharging import cargo and within 3 days after the departure date of such vessel for export cargo. In case it is found that the weight and volume declared in the cargo manifest was below the actual weight and volume or incomplete,an additional charge of 50% of the actual rate will be collected.

105.3 THROUGH OR TRANSHIPMENT CARGO
Charges shall be levied when they are discharged from vessel or loaded onto vessel.
105.3.1 Stay on wharf not more than one day
following the day of final dischargeing

105.3.2 Stay on wharf more than one day following the day of final discharging
45 Baht/Tonne
105.3.3 Stay on waterway conveyance
15 Baht/Tonne

In case of remaining on the wharf,the exemption period for free storage is 3 days for through cargo and 15 days for transhipment cargo following the day of final discharge. In case the transhipment cargo still remains on the wharf beyond the free storage period of 15 days,the exemption period will be reduced to only 3 days. After the exemption period of both through cargo and transhipment cargo,the storage charges will be assessed at the rate as specified in item 205.1

106 GARBAGE CHARGE
Garbage collecting services will be charged against vessels of over 750 GRT according to Bangkok Port berth on a daily basis commencing from the berthing time as follows:-

The above mentioned charges are also applicable to other vessels requesting for garbage collecting services.
107 TELEPHONE SERVICE ON BOARD

Charge for the use of telephone on board at berth shall be on a daily basis at the rate.

WATER SUPPLY SERVICE

108.1 Water supply service charge

109 LABOUR STAND BY CHARGE

Charge will be levied for work standby against shipowner or agent requested for work for loading / discharging general cargo or containers or stuffing / unstuffing LCL cargo but was unable to do so at the specified time for whatever reason which is not the fault of the Bangkok Port except cancellation of such request will be made prior to the schedule at least one hour.

111 QUAY CLEANING CHARGE

Charge for cleaning berth shall be collected daily against vessel at berth at the rate 500 Baht / Vessel / Day
