CHARGES AGAINST SHIPOWNERS OR SHIP'S AGENTS

PORT DUES
Use of channel, navigation aids, and other facilities to ensure safety in entering and leaving Port Area including cost for use of line handling boat and line handling services to/from Berth for vessels larger than 700 GT.
Rates for 1 trip will be charged when entering port as follows:

Vessel making more than 1 trip per day will be charged for 1 trip only.

Any vessel using the channel more than 10 times per month will be charged 50% of the normal rate for their next trips in the same month. In case of more than 1 trip per day, this will count for 1 trip only.

In case of annual payment, registration and advance payment of 120 trips of the normal rate must be charged.

Vessels from the Thai Government and Foreign Warships will be exempted from these charges.

TUG SERVICE
Use of tug boat for servicing vessel. Charges are made according to the size of vessel per hour as follows:

The period commencing when the tug boat clears her berth and ending when the tug boat is back at her berth.

In case of using tug boat for stranded vessel, assisting vessel in abnormal condition, or freeing ship's anchor or providing other services within the port area, the charges will be twice the normal charges.

At least 3 hours notice must be given to postpone or cancel tug service, otherwise vessel will be charged for a minimum service charge of 1 hour.

Tug services outside the Port Area will be considered case by case.

BERTH HIRE
Use of Berth for vessel. Charges are made according to berthing place and calculated per hour as follows:

GENERAL CARGO WHARFAGE
Use of Berthing Area and labour for stevedoring general cargo to or from vessel. The charges also include moving cargo to or from yard.

Cargo wharfage at Anchor Area does not include labour for stevedoring.

In case of storage at Storage Area, exemption period is 15 days after the completion date of unloading from vessel. If the cargo however has not been loaded to vessel during the allowed exemption period, the rule of Item No.204.1 will be applicable to that cargo relative to the exemption period (which will be reduced to 3 days or 1 day, as applicable) and relative to the charges.

106 GARBAGE CHARGE
For garbage collecting services from all vessels. Charges are calculated per day commencing from the hour of berthing as follows:

107 TELEPHONE SERVICE ON BOARD
Use of telephone on board of vessel at Berth for communications inside the Port on request of Shipowner or Agent.

109 LABOUR STAND BY CHARGE
Charges for waiting time in case of Shipowner or Agent gave notice for loading/unloading general cargo or containers or for stuffing/unstuffing loose LCL cargo and operation cannot be continued for more than 1 hour for any reason and which is not the responsibility of the Port.
